Despite everything, Miché Solomon says she feels lucky to have ended up with a mom who loved her

Two or three times a month, Miché Solomon drives 120km to visit her mother.

It sounds prosaic, until you realise that Solomon is better known as Zephany Nurse, and that the woman she is visiting stole her from a maternity ward when she was three days old.

Twenty-two years later, Lavona Solomon is serving a 10-year prison sentence for kidnapping Solomon, and the young woman’s life has been turned upside-down by the events of the past five years...
