Slain man’s family begs Cele: He wasn’t just an EFF fighter, he was a son

DUT student was killed during a clash with security firm. Family say his death is being ignored thanks to politics

Six months after 20-year-old Durban University of Technology (DUT) student Mlungisi Madonsela was shot and killed outside campus, his family says they have been let down by the justice system.  

Now the family has turned to police minister Bheki Cele, asking him to intervene and apprehend Madonsela’s killer.
