A publishing house and a varsity have joined to help the children of Western Cape farm workers become literate

For years the cycle of poverty has robbed the children of farm workers and those living in townships around Stellenbosch in the Western Cape of the chance to be properly educated.

But a joint education project by academics, students and a local publishing house is set to turn the tide.
