Family, friends and the rugby fraternity gather to bid farewell to the World Cup-winning winger


Say goodbye, but please stop crying over former Springbok World Cup-winning winger James Small.

“My brother would have never wanted that from anybody. You all deserve to have a smile on your face, as each and every one of you has experienced, in some way or another, the great whirlwind that was my brother,” Kelly Small said on Thursday.

She was addressing about 400 mourners at Small’s memorial service, held on Thursday in a marquee on The Wanderers rugby fields in Johannesburg...
