Close to 4,000 security guards will have their lives changed for the better when the City of Johannesburg insources them from the end of September.

In an effort to reduce their spending on security companies, the City of Johannesburg this week finalised the issuing of appointment letters to beneficiaries of its security guard insourcing programme.
