Sabric stats show more and more South Africans are falling for fraudsters when they phone them
The number of times South Africans were scammed while doing mobile banking has shot up by more than 100% in the past year, according to figures released by the SA Banking Risk Information Centre (Sabric) on Wednesday.
Perhaps even worse, it cost these cybercrime victims an average of more than R2,300 per incident.
