There is enough evidence for the UK to prosecute a suspected paedophile living in SA, and he should be sent back to face trial.

This ruling by a Randburg magistrate caps a five-year battle by the 72-year-old Scottish citizen to avoid extradition to the UK, where authorities say they have a mountain of evidence against him.

Magistrate Lee Carolus also said the man should be kept in police custody until the justice minister either finalises the decision or overturns it, but agreed to his release after his lawyer wasted no time in asking for him to freed on a warning pending a high court appeal...
