Vitality members are outraged that they can no longer earn points with the watches they bought for R4,000
Fitness freaks who enjoy earning Vitality points can no longer use Tom Tom sports watches to measure their steps, distance run and heart rate, and earn valuable points in return.
Dutch company Tom Tom exited SA in 2017. At the beginning of the year, no one with a Tom Tom watch could link to the Vitality points system, but Vitality still recognised users who had watches.
Now Vitality has announced it will no longer give points to users who track their steps, heart rate and exercise with a Tom Tom sports watch. Other wearable devices by US-based company Misfit have also been discontinued in SA...
