‘Good witness’ Duduzane’s dad slammed for being a bad witness

Jacob Zuma was jovial by his quiet son’s side while, in another part of Joburg, the former president got a dressing down


Former president Jacob Zuma – who received a dressing down from the state capture inquiry on Thursday – was his jovial self in court, where he supported his son facing a culpable homicide case.

Unlike the former president, who was chatting to people and waving at bystanders, Duduzane Zuma was uncharacteristically quiet as the Randburg Magistrates’ Court heard closing arguments.

His lawyer, Mike Hellens SC, told the court what a good witness Duduzane had been and that the court could rely on his evidence...
