Media stalwarts say SA owes much of its media freedom to Raymond Louw, who died within 22 hours of his wife


Just 22 hours after his wife died in hospital following a fall, veteran journalist and lifelong media freedom fighter Raymond Louw breathed his last breath.

It was “in a way, wildly romantic”, said the couple’s daughter, actress Fiona Ramsay.
