South Africa's vulnerability to global cyber security attacks is mounting as skilled forensic experts are poached by overseas businesses and hackers step up their onslaught on the country, its instructions and citizens.

As global information technology company Dimension Data released its 2019 Global Threat Intelligence Report, local cyber security experts warn the country is ill prepared for cyber-attacks.
