Young surfer has already saved a life, but don’t ask him to talk about it

For this NSRI award winner, rescuing a struggling swimmer was just part of another day at the sea

While some 12-year-olds would jump at the opportunity to boast about their achievements, this is not the case for Luc Lepront, whose actions helped save a life and earned him recognition at the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) awards on Friday.

Luc was out surfing at Baggies Beach, in the South Coast, on a Friday in March when he heard cries for help from a swimmer in trouble.
