And jumping with him was one of the soldiers who was just 17 when he jumped into Normandy during World War 2


The invasion of Nazi-occupied France on D-Day is being called to mind as thousands of skydivers drop into Normandy to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the battle.

Among them is SA businessman Mark Vivier – who this past weekend flung himself from the door of a war-era plane above the lush fields of France.
