Blood service launches project to get lifesaving fluid to remote rural areas much faster than before


The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is taking to the skies to make sure urgent blood supplies reach even remote areas of the country.

On Tuesday it introduced the drones that will spirit the precious fluid from blood banks to hospitals in remote areas much faster and more efficiently than before.
