Anna Kendrick’s romcom series Love Life, which traces the journey from first love to lasting love, premiered last week. The Oscar-nominated star of box-office hit movies such as Up in the Air, Into the Woods and Pitch Perfect plays 20something Darby in the 10-episode anthology series, which explores how our dating history shapes us into who we are when we finally end up with someone forever.

Love Life is the second most-popular title on the recently launched streaming service HBO Max, topping The Big Bang Theory and beaten only by classic mega-comedy Friends. 

The cast includes Hope Davis (American Splendor, SXSW Award winner Peter Vack (The Bold Type), Scoot McNairy (Narcos, True Detective), Sasha Compère (Uncorked, Miracle Workers) and Jin Ha (Devs), with narration by Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread, Harlots). ..
