Miuccia Prada’s announcement that she would be stepping down as creative director of her namesake brand, leaving it in the capable hands of Raf Simons, was the biggest news of Milan Fashion Week.  

Fast-forward from then, five months into the coronavirus pandemic, and her final collection, Multiple Views — The Show That Never Happened, is understood and presented in five video chapters, lensed by world-renowned creatives Willy Vanderperre, Juergen Teller, Joanna Piotrowska, Martine Syms and Terence Nance. 

The collection tethers on the balance between fashion and anti-fashion, radicalism and purity. Stark and uncompromisingly postmodern, Prada explores the essence of each item, reducing it to its core values, a love letter to the fundamentals of eternal style unpolluted by the frivolity of trend. ..
