It is unlikely to become a pandemic, but there’s always a possibility the old plague has new tricks up its sleeve

Just when you thought the game of Jumanji 2020 has become couldn’t get any more out of hand, scientists in China are on high alert after finding the bubonic plague.

Yes that’s right. Remember when coronavirus first touched down and everyone said this was the 21st-century version of the plague? Well according to reports, authorities in China’s autonomous Inner Mongolia region have stepped up precautions after a case of the bubonic plague was confirmed. 

China’s Global Times also reported that a second case was being investigated. It is unclear how either person may have come into contact with the disease, but state officials claim to be all over it...
