Gucci stabs a stiletto into the heart of Fashion Week

Looking to rethink fashion post-Covid-19, the design house joins the flight from the tired rituals of haute couture

It’s no secret that the Fashion Week calendar will never be the same post-Covid-19. For those such as Gucci head designer Alessandro Michele this means a review of the harrowing fashion schedule.



On the fashion house’s Instagram page on Saturday, Michele illustrated how the fashion calendar has become obsolete and informed followers, in Italian and English, that the label will be hosting two shows instead of four (cruise, pre-fall, spring/summer and fall/winter shows)...
