Prominent South Africans, including sports, arts and culture minister Nathi Mthethwa and Covid-19 ministerial advisory committee chairperson, Prof Salim Abdool Karim, are scheduled to talk about meditation and mindfulness with one of the world’s foremost spiritual leaders, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Founder of the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association For Human Values, Shankar has been holding a series of conversations with industry influencers across the globe.

His online discussions with influential South Africans are part of the annual iMeditateAfrica ( (IMA) campaign, which aims to promote inner peace by encouraging the use of meditation, mindfulness or quiet time for peace building and unity for the continent.
