Lockdown need not be the death of creativity. You might be stuck in your home, but you can still enrich your mind and feed your soul by learning something new or taking inspiration from creative gurus. Art, design and music experts are offering online courses for much-needed cultural and creative enrichment during the Covid-19 pandemic.

1. MOMA’S ONLINE ART CLASSES

The Museum of Modern Art (https://www.moma.org/) (MoMA) in New York is not letting the pandemic get in the way of bringing art to people. The museum has embraced the digital landscape, reaching more than 30 million people worldwide.  After its virtual gallery tours, MoMA launched its What is Contemporary Art? online course. It covers five themes (Media from Television to the Internet; Territories & Transit; Materials & Making; Agency and Power), offering an in-depth look at more than 70 artworks from its collection, from 1980 to the present.
