Having returned from the US after attending her first Grammy Awards in January, Lira is ready to kick off the Bassline Live Series on Saturday, a long-standing music event that has showcased local and international acts since 1994.

The songstress will be performing hits spanning her musical career with her six-piece band in what she says will be a special show which allows her to do something unique for her Joburg fans.

“Fans can get a tailor-made Lira show with all their favourite music and I’m going to throw in a few new songs that I’ve worked on in the United States, so I’m very excited about that.”..
