Gin and bear it: Inverroche joins up with Charlize Theron

Unique taste of fynbos gin tickles the fancy of the US

SA gin brand Inverroche is expanding to the US. As part of its push, the label is a sponsor of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.

To support the project at its recent charity auction, the brand partly sponsored a prize worth $45,000. It included a trip to the Inverroche Distillery, where guests could make their own bespoke gin and experience the ingredients of the region firsthand. Theron and  Scott both align their vision around the importance of community. 

Founded in 2011, Inverroche was the first gin distillery to infuse the neutral base spirit with fynbos, a local edible botanical. There are more than 9,000 species of fynbos in SA, which allows for great creativity in the distilling process. The rich, aromatic, and fine leaved plants give the gin unique characteristics and distinct flavour profiles. ..
