Catch this Emmy winner at Cinema Nouveau before she packs her Fleabag

Diehard fans are being treated to its theatre version once more, but the stage run will be over on Thursday night

Phoebe Waller-Bridge (whose name post-Emmys-2k19 can be preceded with “award-winning comedic screen actress and scriptwriter”) has motivated many a binge session since her hit play, Fleabag, traversed from stage to screen. And now the old-skool among us (howzit, theatregoers of yore) and diehard fans of the series are being treated to its theatric rendition once more.

An insect by any other name, Waller-Bridge is retreading her thespian roots and currently wooing the National Theatre with her knockout of a toneelstuk.

Before an irate “jissis, I wasn’t planning on visiting my expat friends/relatives/Shoreditch-Instagram-stalkee till December” escapes your lips, head to Cinema Nouveau’s website, because (cue quick scratch of the ankle) it’s being brought to Mzansi’s big screen (screams!)...
