Researchers break the breast news yet on the obesity front

When she gave birth to her first child 15 years ago, Yolande* managed only three weeks of breastfeeding before she headed back to work. She didn’t have maternity leave, forcing her to leave her newborn with her mother.

But when she had her second child five years later, the mother of two and 40-year-old quantity surveyor was determined to do things differently.  She breastfed her now 10-year-old daughter for more than a year.
