Now on the big scream: The unlikeable Mr Weinstein

Give him enough grope ... Hollywood finally wakes up to filming the sordid drama of the fallen movie mogul

Since the first reports in the New York Times and the New Yorker about the sexual misconduct of former Weinstein Company CEO Harvey Weinstein, the movie industry has been slow to turn the fall of the mogul into screen material.

But according to Vanity Fair, and Reuters this week, that’s all about to change. On Monday, Hulu released the documentary Untouchable, directed by Ursula Macfarlane, that offered a straightforward account of the events that led to Weinstein’s downfall.

The film premiered to mixed reviews at the Sundance Film Festival earlier in 2019 and features interviews with actresses Rosanna Arquette and Paz de la Huerta, who have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, as well as with New York Times journalists Megan Twhohey and Jodi Kantor, and New Yorker reporter Ronan Farrow, who broke the original stories...
