When she entered the interior to write, it was by design

Interior designer Nthabi Taukobong writes about the inspiration for her book, The Real Interior

Born in Soweto in the 1970s, during the height of apartheid, Nthabi Taukobong’s story is an inspirational one. She is a design guru, working on esteemed residential and leisure projects for presidents, African royalty, captains of industry and five-star hotels, to name a few. Her career has allowed her to study and work in Africa and abroad. She continues to trailblaze.

Taukobong writes about the inspiration for her book, The Real Interior (Tracey MacDonald Publishers, R275), which is a behind-the-scenes look at the glitz and glam of interior design and the lessons she learned along the way.
