Moeketsi Thipe

The Airlander 10, an eco-friendly blimp by Hybrid Air Vehicles, can take off and land on any flat surface, offering passengers a three-day non-stop experience.Dubbed the “Flying Bum” for its curvaceous exterior design, its interior has transparent floors and large windows in the lounge and bedroom areas. Its luxury furniture mimics a typical first-class cabin, but in twice the space.Cruising at just 146km/h, the Airlander 10 will take in attractions such as the Grand Canyon and Amazon Rainforest on its route. The detailed designs are all that have been released for now and a release year for the model hasn’t been announced yet.  Combining air travel with tourism is an exciting idea, although it is sure to rest on the expensive side once it officially hits the market.
