It'll be a real Swizz if you miss this one
We’re drinking in the last dregs of summer and it is promising to go out with a bang. Next weekend, legendary hip-hop DJ, producer and art collector Swizz Beats will be jetting into the country as the headline act for the Bacardi Holiday Club Festival.
If you’ve not been lucky enough to have been invited, to the Bacardi Holiday Club is a series of exclusive parties that have been running since last year in which a whole bunch of Johannesburg’s cool kids congregate at a mansion for a night of all inclusive revelry. The last one was in Hurlingham, Sandton and saw Nadia Nakai taking to the stage. The festival version of these parties however will see everything ramped up to level 10. For one thing, instead of a handful of artists performing, the Bacardi Holiday Club Festival will play host to 30 artists across three stages including the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Mafikizolo, Frank Casino and DJ Speedsta.
In keeping with the theme of the Bacardi Holiday Club, attendance will be capped at R1500 people and the Festival will take place on the sprawling gardens of Welgelegen Manor an hour outside Johannesburg. Unlike other festivals it will be all inclusive, so all you need bring is a glamping tent and an eagerness for good times.
- The Bacardi Holiday Club Festival runs from ebruary 3 to 4. Tickets are R1490, include drinks and food and are available from https://www.webticket.co.za/event.aspx?itemid=1475712969.
