So my extremely divine and delightful unofficial and honorary goddaughter has started a business selling exceptional items of preloved clothing online to help pay for her law studies. She calls herself Ohsothrift. 

Shameless product placement aside, this whole trend (and it most certainly is a trend) has got me wondering about the use of “thrift” as a verb.
