It seems only a brutal education campaign will get people to be serious about stopping the virus’s spread
Driving through White City, Soweto, on Sunday, a Times Select reporter came across a street party. More than 20 young men were sitting on the pavement, chatting and listening to music. None of them wore a mask.
This was not unusual. Very few residents walking the streets of SA’s largest township wore face masks that Sunday.
