Just a few streets from the sangria-topped tables of Barcelona’s Sant Martí district, workers in a vast open-plan office are being exposed to some of the vilest content on the internet.
From videos of beheadings to neo-Nazi slogans and child pornography, hundreds of employees at CCC, a moderation outsourcing firm for Facebook, are trying to stem the tidal wave of disturbing content on the social media site.
