Grand Parade Investment’s management capabilities and over-optimism at root of the failure, say analysts

Grand Parade Investments, which is in talks to sell its stake in Burger King in SA, probably underestimated consumer loyalty to homegrown fast food brands when it brought the international brand to SA.



The gaming and casino company, which holds the master franchise licence for Burger King,  said it was engaged in negotiations relating to “a disposal of a material interest in Burger King SA” – launched in SA in 2013 with much fanfare...
