Money is used to to buy influence. Money thinks it can buy power.  Money is the new settlement currency for disputes, the alternative punishment, the alternative forgiveness. Money can buy just about anything, until it gets found out. Money can buy you a nationality, a new place to call home. At a price, you can get a whole new set of friends, a new found patriotism and allegiance to the flag of your choice. ..
