It’s a long walk to financial freedom, but worth taking
Occasionally we need reminding of a few basic pointers to get through life financially. Tweak the following advice to suit your age, personal circumstances, risk appetite and financial literacy:
Be liquid and have two to three months of salary as cash on hand for emergencies, with most of this housed in an accessible interest-bearing money market account.
Always separate your saved “investment capital” from your “life expenditure” – the former is for return-producing assets, the latter for ordinary and emergency expenses...
